The Donald Rare Earth and Mineral Sands Project (Donald Project) is a tier-1 rare earth and mineral sands resource located within the Wimmera and Mallee District of Western Victoria near the towns of Minyip and Donald.

SKILLS
- Experienced in the delivery of multi-discipline complex infrastructure construction
projects with a background in an engineering design, build & commission operating
environment with scope greater than $150 million. - Proven background in the delivery of mine site infrastructure construction from inception
to practical completion in a contracting environment. - Demonstrated commercial / industry experience managing large infrastructure fixed price
contracted projects in the contestable market nationally with firm contractual terms and
conditions with liquidated damages. - Demonstrated commitment to improvements in safety performance, environmental
performance, WH&S, quality and legal compliance. - Strong leadership skills, with experience in leading technical teams and driving
performance.
COMPETENCIES
- Current Australian driver’s licence.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications for data analysis, project management, and
technical reporting - Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset for continuous
improvement. - Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interface at all
organisational levels. - A working knowledge of Acts, Standards and Codes of Practice that are relevant to
engineering projects and contracting in the Victorian mine construction sector. - Demonstrated experience in working with and directing multi-functional, nationally
dispersed resource groups. - Demonstrated ability in using standard Windows applications including word processing,
spreadsheets, database and project management applications. - Detailed knowledge of Critical Path Management, Earned Value Management, advanced
resource allocation, project baseline comparisons and project reporting.
QUALIFICATIONS, LICENCES & WORK EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in project management, engineering, construction, or
related field, or significant relevant work experience. - Membership or certification from recognised Project Management professional body.
