Emily leads the human resources function at Astron Limited, bringing more than 20 years of experience across the resources, defence, manufacturing and public service sectors. She has held senior HR and safety roles at Sibanye-Stillwater, Aurelia Metals, Downer, Yancoal, Evolution Mining, and the Queensland Police Service, developing broad expertise in workforce planning, employee relations, change management, safety, and organisational development. She holds a Bachelor of Psychology majoring in social and developmental psychology and a Bachelor of Social Work focusing on community development, social research and social policy, both from the University of Queensland, and a Master of Human Resource Management from Griffith University, specialising in Change Management and Employee Relations. She is finalising a Bachelor of Employment Law at the University of New England.
