Astron’s key asset is the major Donald Rare Earth & Mineral Sands Project in Victoria. Currently in the final stages of evaluation it has the potential to be a major, long life source of critical minerals (zircon, titania and rare earth elements) Astron also owns a mineral processing facility at Yingkou China and a mineral sands project under evaluation) in Senegal.
Resources
The Donald tenement area contains one of the largest undeveloped mineral sands resources as well as an Australian significant source
of rare earth element. The 2.4 billion tonnes of Mineral Resources (and 22.1 million tonnes of zircon) are capable of underpinning an
operation for over 50 years.

Donald Rare Earths and Mineral Sands Project
Donald represents an important new source of global supply of critical minerals (zircon and REEC) at a time of robust demand and
challenged supply, with the maturing of established mineral sands production sources and a lack of quality, well advanced new
projects. Donald represents a Tier One deposit with an expected roughly equivalent revenue contribution from mineral sands products
and rare earth elements. The project is exceptional in terms of scale, potential production longevity and the value of mineral
assemblage.

Niafarang Mineral Sands Project
This project is designed to access a high grade coastal mineral sands deposit using simple dredge mining and concentrating
methodologies. The ore is high grade, coarse grained sands producing high quality ilmenite and zircon. The Niafarang project is located
within an exploration licence zone along a 75km stretch of the Casamance coast of Senegal, West Africa.
Operations
Astron operates a zircon and titanium mineral separation plant in Yingkou, China which is a key base of the Group’s extended
involvement in mineral sands research, marketing and processing in the country
